Mira Mason

Mira Mason attended Northern Virginia, Pitt, and Edgecombe Community Colleges earning an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. She then attended Shaw University and Virginia Union University, majoring in Religion and Administrative Justice. Ms. Mason served in the military, acquiring the rank of Staff Sergeant, working as a Supply Sergeant, military instructor, and completing four oversees tours of duty. After 9 years, she left the Army and went to work for the Secretary of the Army at the Pentagon. Ms. Mason has spent the rest of her time continuing to serve as a police officer, correctional officer, driver, and freelancer. Ms. Mason has been a minister for 40 years within the Primitive Baptist denomination serving as a teacher, preacher, and Moderator. She is a 100% disabled veteran.
